After a few weeks of intense activity and constant emails to and from Rick, my web designer, I am very pleased to have finally launched my new website.
As well as a showcase for my artwork, I will use it to publicise current exhibitions, and make available reviews and commentaries of my work, past and present.
There are also links to the galleries that host my paintings.
And here on the blog? I’ll keep you informed of my new work, the day to day life of a working artist, and any new developments that I think might be of interest.

Since 2003 Jiří Ptáček has been developing a reflection of a trouble-free modern style in collections of paintings using coloured acrylic paints. These paintings react mainly to the current role of publicity and media manipulation, but also suggest a general tendency to escape to a virtual world free of real problems.
